Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School Winter Concert
December 13th, 7:00pm, Ferrini Dramatics Center
The Fine Arts Department of Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School will present the annual Winter Concert on Thursday, December 13 at 7:00 p.m. in the Ferrini Dramatics Center at the Regional. The Winter Concert is free and open to all members of the community. The program will include a wide variety of pieces to be performed by the Concert Band, Jazz Band, Concert Choir, and Harmony. Please join us for an exciting evening of music led by Director of Choirs, Katie Simko and Director of Bands, Erik Fecke.
HWRHS Winter Art Show and Reception

Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School presents “Into The Woods”. Join the talented cast for opening night in the Ferrini Dramatics Center as the curtains open for this charming production tonight at 7pm.

Miles River Middle School One Acts Update
On April 28th Miles River Middle School participated in the One act Festival and performed a piece written by the cast and crew titled, "A Song for the Birds". We are so thrilled to share with you our results from this year's METG Middle School Drama Festival!
Ian Castracane received an All-Star Company award recognizing his Foley-style live sound design
Leo Kagan and Margo Tsouvalas both received All-Star Company awards recognizing their excellence in performance
Brigitte Worstell, Chloe Gern, Ava Cote, and Libby Collins all received All-Star Company awards recognizing their costume designs for the production, AND
Olivia Soolman was honored with the coveted Stage Manager's award, which is only given to one school on the merit of displaying professionalism, organization, planning, and poise at both the tech rehearsal and on the festival day.
Our students are so thrilled with the outcome!

Boston Globe Scholastic Art and Writing Awards 2018
The Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School Visual Arts and English Departments are proud to announce that our students have received three gold keys, two silver keys and five honorable mentions in the 2018 Boston Globe Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Established in 1923, the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards are the longest-running, most prestigious recognition program for creative teens in the United States. Gold Key works will automatically advance to national judging and will be considered for national awards. National Medalists will be announced on March 13, 2018.
Visual Arts: Annabel Howley was awarded two gold keys and an honorable mention. Nora Sullivan-Horner received a gold key. Thomas Lattanzi, Cadyn Sawyer and Helen Peppler were awarded honorable mentions.
English: Raquel Souza was awarded a gold key for a critical essay. Luce Brandt was awarded a silver key for a personal essay/memoir. Notably, Nora Sullivan-Horner was also awarded a silver key for a personal essay/memoir in addition to her win in visual arts.
