W.A.S.P. is going to METG States!

Congratulations to Mom, Dad, the kids, the choir, the butler, the flight attendants, the alien... yep, you read that right...and the entire, phenomenal behind the scenes crew of Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School's Theater Workshop who are moving on to the State Final Round of the Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild's 2016 High School Drama Festival, March 31st - April 2nd in Boston.

Thursday night, March 24th at 7:30pm on stage in the Ferrini Dramatics Center will be your chance to jump back in time with HW's hilarious, one-act performance of Steve Martin's W.A.S.P., presenting his view of the traditional culture of White Anglo-Saxon Protestants in the fifties.

In both the Preliminary and Semi-Final Rounds, METG judges recognized Hamilton-Wenham with several acting and technical performance awards. Among those awarded, senior Grace Callahan playing the role of Mom recently extended the following invitation to Thursday night's performance, "You WILL laugh. You probably won't cry. You may even learn something!  It costs one bill to enter!  Whether you want to contribute $1 or $10,000!  Any amount would be greatly appreciated to help pay for our performance at states in Boston on April 1st!"

The 40 minute, one-act performance will begin promptly at 7:30pm.  Donations are accepted and go directly to supporting HW's Theater Workshop.

Hamilton-Wenham will return to the stage at the Back Bay Event Center, 180 Berkeley Street, Boston for their State Final performance, Friday, April 1st at 2pm.
