Miles River Middle School Winter Concert

December 19th, 7:00pm, Ferrini Dramatics Center
The Fine Arts Department of Miles River Middle School will present the annual Winter Concert on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Ferrini Dramatics Center. The Winter Concert is free and open to all members of the community. Performances will include a variety of music from both the middle school band and chorus. Please join us for a lively evening of music led by Director of Bands, Erik Fecke and Director of Choirs, Katie Simko. The student performers have been preparing for the concert since September and are eager to share their music with you!

HWRHS Winter Art Show and Reception

The Fine Arts Department of Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School is proud to announce that the work of student artists from grades 9-12 will be on display at this year’s Winter Art Showcase. The reception will be held on Wednesday, December 13, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the visual arts wing.

Legally Blonde


This weekend, the Hamilton-Wenham Regional High school proudly presents Legally Blonde the Musical. Adapted from the hit movie of the same name, the musical follows the story of Elle Woods, a Californian sorority sister from the sunny west coast beaches all the way to the hallowed halls of Harvard Law School. Join Emmett, Paulette and of course Elle’s faithful dog Bruiser as Elle searches for love and finds that being true to yourself never goes out of style.

Performances are at 7PM on Friday, November 3rd, as well as 2PM and 7PM on Saturday, November 4th at Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School, 775 Bay Road, S. Hamilton, MA 01982. Tickets are $15.00 for adults and $10.00 for students and seniors and can be purchased at the door or online through Brown Paper Tickets.

Senior Art Showcase and Reception

The Visual Arts Department of Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School is proud to announce that the work of student artists from the class of 2017 will be on display at this year’s Senior Showcase. The Senior Showcase reception will be held on Wednesday, May 10, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the visual arts wing of HWRHS. The high school spring concert immediately follows starting at 7:00pm in the Ferrini Dramatics Center.

6th Congressional District High School Art Award Winners Announced


This marks the 23rd year that Montserrat has hosted this competition. The exhibit included 148 pieces from 30 different public and private high schools within the 6th District of Massachusetts, as well as high school students. The exhibition was juried by Joyce Moore, of Gloucester MA, artist and Montserrat Trustee and Katherine Mitchell DiRico  artist and director of Montserrat's Career Services.

MRMS One Act Performances of Chapter One


Chapter One 

Our performance of Chapter One for the public is Thursday, April 27th at 6:00 in the Ferrini Dramatics Center at Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School.  The approximate running time is 38:00 minutes. 


In addition, the students are competing at Lynnfield Middle School at 12:15 on Saturday, April 29th.

  

12th Annual Prism Concert

Tonight, April 26th, is our 12th annual PRISM concert will be held at the Ferrini Dramatics Center at the Hamilton Wenham Regional high school. Come see the high school musicians in a unique setting featuring soloists, trios, and small groups.


Downbeat is at 8 PM and admission is free.

Boston Globe Scholastic Art Awards 2017

The Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District School Visual Arts Department is proud to announce that our students have received one gold key, five silver keys and five honorable mentions in the 2017 Boston Globe Scholastic Art Awards. Established in 1923, the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards are the longest-running, most prestigious recognition program for creative teens in the United States.

At Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School Margaret Brown received a Gold Key and a Silver Key. Brendan Cramphorn and Josh Erhard received silver keys. A silver key was also awarded to a collaborative animation piece by YueYan Zhang, Tyler Flahive and Elizabeth Consolazio. Honorable mentions were received by Jenna Conley, Sydney Jenkins, Helen Peppler, Brendan Cramphorn and Dana Rowe. Congratulations to all winners!
